The head scarf is sort of gypsy-ish… but I love it.

The drape-y black knit vest is the perfect spring layering piece.

The bangles are amazing.

AND THAT BAG … is absolutely delicious. The tangerine color is definitely a must have.

Her and Joe are such a cute couple!!!!

Vanessa looking AMAZING shopping in LA

Vanessa Hudgens. I love her. But even if you hate her, you’ve got to admit, she has fantastic style.

I can’t describe it… but for some reason, I just love everything this girl wears. And it’s not that I think all her outfits are amazing, it’s more about the way she wears her looks.

It always seams so effortless, but you know that it’s calculated. This floral top is comfortable looking, yet oh so chic, the skinny jeans keep it casual, and those amazing ankle boots add some edge and glam at the same time. The Balenciaga bag is a staple for Vanessa, and the aviators are an unexpected throw back.

And her hair… i WISH my hair looked like that everyday!

Recessionista shopping goes vintage!

All we hear about is the economy. All I think about when I read fashion magazines is how BROKE I am. So… It poses a slight challenge to us fashionistas out there. HOW do we look utterly fabulous at every moment of the day while shopping on a budget?

The oh-so-chic answer: go vintage!

It makes perfect “cents.” And its a win win for everyone. We score cheap and unique items while keeping our bank accounts from going into the red like Ms. Rebecca Bloomwood. The perfect solution for every shopaholic!

The ultimate question may be… where do I find these fabulous vintage threads at reasonable prices?

The Clothing Warehouse

The Atlanta based Clothing Warehouse sounds almost too good to be true, and the store  just opened its NYC doors this week. The store, with its rustic floorboards and exposed brick walls, offers a range of fabulous vintage threads including dresses from the 60s and 70s, button downs, real vintage tees, and boots in any color your shopping heart desires! The dresses are the perfect way to transition into spring paired with a vintage leather jacket. If there’s anything better than just regular leather, it’s vintage leather….

Celeb Style Crush – Camilla Belle

This girl is EVERYWHERE lately it seems. On the cover of Lucky last month, running around the meatpacking district looking so pulled together with Joe Jonas. And I must say… with every passing day I’m loving her look more and more!

She spends her Sundays stylishly strolling about in black skinny jeans, a gorgeous, cinched waist turquoise tank, and lady like gray embellished cardigan. Black flats pull the look together. It’s so effortless yet so perfect at the same time! And her funky bracelets make it her own.

She’s absolutely DAZZLING in this Chanel number. So perfect, so bombshell, so Old Hollywood glamour! I love it right down to those killer heels and can we discuss her makeup? That pink lipstick is so flattering!

Another dead on red carpet look, and it’s MARCHESA of course. The candy colored hue makes me happy, and the embellishment on the top half of the dress is stunning. This dress is like, the dress of my dreams. Ah I’m in love…

I just love this girl’s style. Her casual looks are still pulled together and chic, and her red carpet and event looks are stunnnning.

And… she always does manage to find the hottest new accessories. Like this one….

Lucky’s got the all Gossip Girls “covered”

As I was flipping through this month’s issue of Lucky, featuring the super adorable and super enviable (SHE IS DATING ED WESTWICK LADIES) Jessica Szohr, I found myself reminiscing on the Gossip Girls of Lucky covers past…

There was Blake in January of 2008. (I remember drooling over that Rag and Bone Blazer)

blake

Leighton in August 2008, doesn’t she just look stunning?!

And now Jessica, April 2009!

The only missing piece of the Lucky Puzzle, Taylor Momsen! I’m not a super huge fan of Little J, but I mean.. we need to complete this quartet! And her real life style is definitely something a little different. She’s not afraid of the edge!

Which cover’s your favorite?
Who’s real life style do you envy the most?

Blake’s classic and pulled together look?
Leighton’s slightly funky yet always chic style?
Jessica’s effortless boho chic, super unique indie vibe?
Or Taylor’s carefree, rock n roll threads?
