This week, Rebecca Minkoff released her high-end, exclusive line of handbags for Saks Fifth Avenue.

This line is a fusion of classic Rebecca Minkoff styles, luxurious skins and leathers, and high-end hardware. The line is priced from $550, but according to style.com, the prices reach $2,000. However, I have a feeling these bags are worth their weight in (rose) gold. The designer compares their quality and craftsmanship to that of Prada handbags.

I love how Rebecca Minkoff stays true to her aesthetic. The attention to detail, the hardware, the classic shapes.  The collection features some of her classic styles (The Nikki, Morning After Bag, Morning After Clutch) as well as some never-seen-before silhouettes. I’m LOVING the clutch/wallet with the zig-zagged studs! I can’t wait to check them out in the NYC Saks!

Anthropologie Turtle-Print Dress

Yesterday, I fell in love with this turtle print dress from Anthropologie. Yes, I said turtle print. Different right?

I thought this dress would be the perfect surprise under my drab gown for my graduation next month! It’s so quirky, and very me. It’s made of a very nice, flowy chiffon-like fabric, and the thick black sash is the perfect accent. I can see myself wearing this so many places: to the park for a picnic, to work, out for cocktails at a rooftop bar, etc. For nearly $140, I wasn’t ready to make the commitment since I’m still in that broke college kid demographic, but the more I think about it, the more I fall in love with this adorable, unique dress!
